DAVID PEEL
"David Peel is a gem. We truly enjoyed working with him and immediately felt a friendship form. David is very professional, very entertaining and very kind. The crowd loved him, young and old. I don't know how many times we heard throughout the night from the attendees for us to bring David back next year." -- Holly S, Cuthills Winery, Pierce, NE, 7/26/2008

DAVID PEEL

While born and raised in Nashville, TN, David hitchhiked with his guitar in tow to Hollywood during a college Spring break in pursuit of a folk-singing career. With dreams of singing the songs he knew and loved driving him forward, he began playing venues throughout Southern California. However, upon discovery by actor Fess Parker of acclaimed Disney films such as 'Old Yeller' and 'Davy Crockett', and star of the hit television series 'Daniel Boone', David began an acting career instead, appearing in series such as 'The Virginian' as well as in 'Daniel Boone'. With the distinction of being the only true "Nashvillian" in the cast, his single film credit would be to play a major role in Robert Altman's Academy-Award-nominated movie, 'Nashville' with Lily Tomlin, Jeff Goldblum, and Henry Gibson. Returning to his musical roots, David established his own solo recording career in Nashville. He quickly hit national country charts with a string of hit singles including 'I'm Walkin'' and 'Wax Museum' (www.chartrecords.net), later to add 5 additional albums; 'Move Two Mountains', 'Hit the Road Jack', 'Rise and Walk', 'I’ll Sing On', and 'Glory Bound' to his decades-spanning career. David now resides in Denver, CO, his home of the past 7 years. With a passion for entertaining and sharing his songs with music lovers of all ages, David currently performs throughout the country for private parties, house shows, corporate events, tailgate parties, resort shows, as well as charity benefits. You might even see him at your local Starbucks jamming with customers while enjoying his favorite cup of joe! David Peel captivates his audiences with a large variety of musical styles and crowd- pleasing favorites as well as bringing a fresh sound all his own that people have enjoyed for years and will undoubtedly continue to for years to come.

MY MUSIC

Like the aroma of a fine cigar, some music just seems to linger through the years, no matter what. If you’re like me, they helped shape our generation. As kids, maybe you heard them played on your parent's (or grandparents) stereo. Being a vocalist, I'm particularly drawn to these songs that have endured the test of time. Performed acoustically, much of "Glory Bound" is a collection of many such songs including; North to Alaska, Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl,) Come A Little Bit Closer, Sixteen Tons, Last Farewell and Big Bad John. There’s even a "live" performance of The Mickey Mouse Club theme song (Honorary Mousketeers), performed as Johnny Cash, Elvis, Roger Miller, Neil Diamond and Gordon Lightfoot. "Glory Bound" also introduces newer material such as The Heart of Dixie, Old Letters (an original) as well as Glory Bound, the title song. “Wax Museum” is a re-make of my very first nationally-charted single for Chart Records.

Aside from doing some acting (Robert Altman’s Nashville) and being a replacement member of the legendary Kingston Trio, I’ve been primarily a soloist since I was 19. Experience (and a huge, diverse repertoire) helps meet the challenge of presenting a “perfect" combination of songs at corporate events, festivals and concerts worldwide.
So...sit back, relax (have a cigar, if you choose) and allow the “aroma” of these classic songs to fill the room!

Performance Reviews

(Harrah's Review)"At this point, Dave Peel has much going for him. He possesses a unique, husky, often downright raspy voice which he controls admirably, he is good looking and happy, he has a fine backup crew, and he is building a good following in Harrah's cabarets. For sometime, Peel's outings in the area were in smaller clubs where dancing customers obliterated sight of him. But that was part of the process. He became known locally and when he put this act together, Harrah's decided to give him a try. After five days in Reno, he's now doing two weeks at Tahoe....a Mickey Mouse Club themer done as Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan and Roger Miller is fun...Peel is to be noticed." (Shie.) (Quebec City)Heartbeat recently held its annual retreat, a weekend event for supporters and friends. David Peel organized, planned and performed the entertainment at dinners and all the other scheduled functions. His quiet, unassuming way, along with his sheer talent for singing a song, added a new dimension to the weekend. David has a wide repertoire of songs, and he does some wonderful impersonations. His performances during our retreat were a lot of fun and provided for some great memories. We would heartily recommend him for any business or social function you may be planning. (Nashville)"David Peel delighted our diverse annual meeting attendees with a musical variety that ranged from nostalgic to pop-fun hits, from relaxed to up-beat, and from light-hearted to inspirational. If you want entertainment that leaves you with a thirst for more, you can't do better." David A. Costello, Pres./CEO, National Association of State Boards of Accountancy.
